There are 237.5 acres of park, playground and recreation land, and 32.6 acres of Cobb’s Creek Park owned by the City of Philadelphia. Both Haverford Township and Lower Merion Township have a variety of activities and events put on by their Parks and Recreation departments. From sports fields and playgrounds to unspoiled nature along the area’s miles of hiking and biking trails, there’s sure to be a park in or around Haverford for everyone.

Does Fido need space to spread out with four-legged pals? Haverford Reserve Dog Park has separate areas for large and small dogs, natural shade, and seating for their human companions.
